ERASE YOUR ONLINE HISTORY

If you share your computer with other members in your household, you may want to erase your history of your visit to this site.  To quickly hide this website from a computer, click on the red "Hide Page" button on the left of any page.

Safari browser

  1. Open settings app and select Safari

  2. Scroll down to the bottom and tap “Clear History” and “Confirm”             

  3. From the Safari settings pane, tap “Clear cache” and “Confirm”

  4. From the Safari settings pane, tap “Clear cookies” and “Confirm”

 

Chrome browser

  1. Open the Chrome app

  2. At the top right, tap the three dots to open the “More” menu.

  3. Tap History.

  4. At the bottom, tap Clear Browsing Data.

  5. Tap to check "Browsing history." (It may be checked by default)

  6. Uncheck any other items you don't want to delete.

  7. Tap Clear Browsing Data.

  8. Confirm by tapping Clear Browsing Data.

  9. At the top right, tap Done.

Tip: Tap the menu and select New Incognito tab to use Chrome for Android in incognito mode. In incognito mode, Chrome won’t remember any pages you’ve visited.

 

Android Phone 

Chrome browser

  1. Open the Chrome app

  2. At the top right, tap the three dots to open the “More” menu

  3. Tap settings

  4. Tap Privacy

  5. Tap “Clear browsing data” at the top right hand corner of your screen

  6. Select all data you want to clear, and tap “clear”

 

Tip: Tap the menu and select New Incognito tab to use Chrome for Android in incognito mode. In incognito mode, Chrome won’t remember any pages you’ve visited

Built-in browser “Internet”

.Tap the Menu button

  1. Select settings 

  2. Scroll to privacy settings

  3. Clear history, Clear cache, Clear all cookie data, Clear form data, and Clear location access. You can also use the Clear passwords option under Security settings to erase the passwords you’ve saved in the browser.

 

PC – Windows 

Chrome browser

  1. Click on the three dots in the top right hand corner to open the menu

  2. Choose settings, scroll down and click on ‘advanced settings’

  3. Click on the “Clear browsing data” button

  4. Check the items you want to clear

  5. Click on the “Clear browsing data” button

Tip: Press ctrl-shift-n to open a new “incognito tab” to use Chrome in incognito mode.  In incognito mode, Chrome won’t remember any pages you’ve visited.

Internet Explorer   

Before closing the Browser

  1. Click the gear to open the menu bar.  Select Tools in the menu. Click on “Internet Options” select the General Tab

  2. Check “Delete browsing history on exit”.  Click delete.

  3. In the Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files. Check the “Delete all offline content” and click OK.

  4. In Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Cookies and then OK.

  5. In the History, click Clear History.

  6. Click OK to exit the Internet Options Dialog Box.

 

FireFox

Before closing the Browser

  1. Select the Tools in the menu bar, then select the Options.

  2. Click on the “Privacy” Option, with the picture of a padlock.

  3. Select the “History” tab. Click on “Clear Browsing History Now”.

  4. Select the “Cache” tab. Click on “Clear Cache Now”.

  5. Click “OK” to exit the Options dialogue box.

Mac Computer

Safari

  1. Go to “History” tab on the main menu.

  2.  Scroll down to “Clear History”.
